New for 2020, a three hour outdoor walking workshop starting in the Jewellery Quarter, based on the City at Night photo walk.
Photography at night forces you to use the Manual setting, working with available light, tripods and the capabilities of your camera to produce photos from the sublime to the other worldly.
This class is designed for people who want to take full control of their cameras, pushing the aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings to their limits while working in the most challenging lighting conditions. If you have done my Beginners class you are ready for this.
Working in pairs I will lead you through a series of exercises that will give you tools for all manner of photography, not just night-time.
A DSLR or Mirrorless camera is required for this class. If you’re not sure if your camera is suitable, get in touch before booking.
Suitable for: Intermediate photographers with cameras that can do long exposures.
Accessibility: Mostly pavements and canal towpaths, some steps. Fairly good accessibility.
Frequency: Weekday evening, monthly from Nov to Feb.
Starting Point: Outside St Paul’s Church, Jewellery Quarter.
Standard price: £25
